Underwriting Support Technician - London - City - Up to £27,000
Our client, a leading global insurer is looking to recruit a Underwriting Support Technician to join their specialist team. The successful candidate will provide technical support to the underwriting departments. be flexible in providing the range of technical functions offered by the underwriting support team. To work within the department's procedural guidelines.
Key responsibilities:
- Using the Subscribe System to provide quality data inputting and monitoring.
- Assist the message processing team with the resolution of data queries.
- Processing policies, making policies live, validating data, scanning, filing or other administrative items.
- Correcting data errors, entering on the chasing database and tracking. Referring all errors identified to the appropriate level identified in the department's procedures document.
- Processing, monitoring and reviewing the premium figures (EPI Control).
- Supporting the credit control function through premium chasing and cash matching.
- Complete the data validation process and ensure that any discrepancies are raised in the chasing database
To apply for the position of Underwriting Support Technician you will have previous Underwriting technical support experience, ideally from with the London market. Be proficient in MS office and hold a degree or equivalent.
