About the role
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will work with in house trading systems and critical infrastructure.
- the mix of custom designed and open source systems allow you to dive to the real source of a problem without having to play guessing games with a vendor
- the awareness of technology risk means the firm designs systems the right way whenever they know what it is, and they are always open to making improvements when they are feasible, and constant improvement is the norm for the organisation
About the person
Key requirements of this UNIX Administrator include:
- four to seven years of relevant work experience
- strong grounding in common network technologies
- strong understanding of Linux systems and experience with scripting languages (Shell plus another scripting language such as Python or Ruby)
- clear and concise communication skills as well as good problem solving skills
- familiarity with financial markets is advantageous
