UNIX ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS ANALYST - INFRASTRUCUTRES

You will provide services ranging from technical architecture and design to implementation, configuration, capacity planning, technical management and administration in the areas of Enterprise infrastructure.
Provide technical evaluations of new technologies for suitability within the group to assist in strategic decision making for the Group.
Provide technical infrastructure specialist knowledge and skills for all business services to ensure cost efficiency and high availability of services for business users.
Essential Technical Skills / Knowledge:
*3yrs+ multi site global infrastructure management and implementation in a secure environment
*In depth knowledge of Unix shells and shell scripting
*In depth knowledge of Enterprise Unix Server Platforms
*In depth knowledge of UNIX operating systems (RedHat Linux, HP-UX and Solaris)
*In depth knowledge of UNIX tools and utilities
*In depth knowledge of networking protocols, e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, NTP
*In depth knowledge of systems admin best practices
*Credible knowledge of J2EE application servers (JBOSS, Tomcat, WebLogic)
*Credible knowledge of Enterprise storage systems (eg HP EVA XP)
*Credible knowledge of Storage Area Networks
Desirable Technical Skills / Knowledge:
*CA APM Monitoring Tool exposure
*Clustering technologies (Solaris TruCluster)
*Knowledge of Web server (apache) configuration and security requirements including SSL
*HP SAN Switch configuration management
*Solaris security hardening (JASS)
*OS hardening techniques (HP-UX Linux Solaris)
