 This multinational company is an industry leader in the area of computer networking. 
Our client is looking for a HP-UX Unix Systems Engineer with 8-10 years experience as a UNIX System Administrator.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide technical leadership in daily system support and operation for critical and complex production systems
 - Perform Capacity Planning, Infrastructure Design, and Systems Administration
 - Create robust, high availability and secure design for UNIX/Linux server infrastructure
 - Provide 24x7 rotating Level 3 Support for Unix and storage infrastructure for various customers
 - Closely work with remote Unix team for day-to-day incident and service request tickets
 - Work with hardware and 3rd party vendors for system troubleshooting
 - Interface with the clients related to technical issues, inquires, and requests
 - Setting various policies for applications and infrastructure: patching schedules, deployment of releases, testing and system readiness
 - Manage Linux and Solaris systems on Sun/Intel and Fujitsu Platforms in Production/Testing/Development environments
 - Configure and manage Virtual Server environments, Storage infrastructure and DR installations
 - Administer Systems Monitoring; Troubleshoot SW/HW Issues Methodically
 - Employ process knowledge of Configuration management Change control
 - Create and update technical documentations (system configuration and operation)

Requirements:
 The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years experience as a UNIX System Administrator, and a BS in (Computer) Science/Engineering or equivalent IT work experience. Other requirements we're searching for include: 
- Strong background in Solaris 2.6/7/8/9/10 and RHEL 4.x/5.x
 - Strong background in HP-UX 10/11
 - Hands-on experience with Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas File System, DiskSuite and LVM
 - Strong/Hands-on experience in SAN devices (EMC Celerra/CLARiiON, NetApp Filer, Brocade switch)
 - Hands-on experience in NetBackup backup software
 - Experience of Jumpstart and Kickstart implementation
 - Requires excellent communication skills and after-hours availability as needed
 - Certifications in Solaris, Linux and/or SAN are preferred
 - Solid understanding of TCP/IP, LDAP, DNS, NIS and SMTP
 - Proficiency in NAS and Storage Area networking as well as Backup Recovery administration
 - Experiences of DNS, Apache, Sendmail, Bind, LDAP, and ProofPoint
 - Experience in data center or network operations with HA (high availability) and/ or 24X7 service level
