Unix Team Lead recruitment
You will be reporting directly to a senior Unix manager and will have the opportunity to work on exciting initiatives driven out of Singapore!
You will be expected to be able to:
• Demonstrate ability to effectively support system production environments to agreed specifications and requirements.
• Delivers assigned tasks to schedule and agreed quality.
• Effectively communicates and works with other engineering and deployment groups.
• Own the production of design specifications as well as operational documentation.
• Ensures all documentation is comprehensive and conforms to bank standards.
• Participates in audits.
To be successful, you have to have AT LEAST:
• 7 years of hands-on experience on the UNIX platform in an Enterprise environment with the following technical skills:
o Knowledge of bank’s regulatory and security policies
o Unix Solaris 2.8 and Solaris 10 Operating Systems
o Linux Operating System
o IBM AIX Operating System including clustering using HACMP and VCS
o Networking Fundamentals
o Information Security principle
o Thorough understanding of SUN Solaris 8 and 10, SUN Enterprise systems
o Standard Unix automation products (TSM, TWS, TDM)
o Standard Unix security products (Keon, SeoS, ESM)
o Experience of supporting servers in an EMC storage environment
o Experience of middleware products such as WAS and Connect-Direct
• Direct Team Lead experience in a bank
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
