Job Description
Based in Sydney, Australia, the successful candidate will provide research support, both qualitative and quantitative, for the Oil Gas team in Australia Equity Research. The analysts will work with other members of the Asia Pacific Region research teams to further our standing as one of the region's pre-eminent research houses.
Responsibilities
- Development of portfolio coverage.
- Construction and maintenance of industry, economic and company databases, utilizing a wide range of information resources.
- Financial modeling of listed companies.
- Preparation of research notes, slide presentations and other research-related documents on a local and regional level.
- Responding to internal and external client information requests.
Requirements
- Degree qualified.
- 3 - 5 years of equity research
- Excellent financial modeling/analytical skills and familiarity with building and maintaining information databases.
- English-language writing skills, strong verbal communication ability and strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Hungry for success.
- Responsible, efficient, detail orientated and self-motivated.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good computer skills especially in Excel.
