US Based Proprietary Trading Firm – New London office – C++ Lead Algo Developer recruitment
A genuine once in a lifetime opportunity exists with a successful Chicago-based proprietary Trading firm who have begun trading on the European Markets.
With a focus on high-speed intra-day trading and market-making, the company extracts a significant amount of alpha from extremely high performance technology and therefore an extremely large emphasis is placed on their technology infrastructure.
The firm is looking to hire a senior software engineer in London who has a significant amount of experience in the world of Electronic Trading. This person will work in a very close-knit team with traders/quants in order to code and implement the devised algorithmic strategies as well as building the Trading infrastructure, connectivity to exchanges, tuning performance and reducing latencies where possible.
The successful candidate will have:
- Deep knowledge of C/C++ and software relating to Electronic Trading.
- Experience of Electronic venues/APIs such as Liffe, LSE, Eurex, Globex, Chi-X
- Execution software / algorithms / platform development
- Low-level optimisation / networking / hardware etc.
