A role has come up for a Valuations Controller within their Product Control division supporting the Financial Markets business across multiple asset classes. The leadership for this Bank is aiming to make their Product control the most effective support function in the Australia-pacific region
As an experienced Valuations or product controller you will be responsible for all aspects of Independent Price verification (IPV) and work closely within product control to ensure that there is a robust governance structure and effective Valuation framework in place.
The role holder will be responsible for assessing and implementing IPV analysis as well as performing extensive financial analysis on the relevant and key market data received from outside providers.
You will also lead key projects in relation to improving and redesigning the IPV processes.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• Extensive product control, IPV or valuation control experience
• Tertiary qualifications in a business/finance related discipline
• CA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification
• Experience of working within a large financial services company
• Solid knowledge expertise in investment banking products including fixed income, FX, credit and equities.
