Valuations Senior Manager – Sydney recruitment
My client is looking for a Valuations Senior Manager for a permanent role within their quantitative specialists team. Within this team staff members provide valuation and risk solutions to the banking, capital markets, energy and commodity industries.
Due to continued growth of my client they have opportunities for client-focused professionals who enjoy a challenging, fast-moving environment.
In particular they are seeking an individual with experience in the valuation of derivatives and financial instruments including exotic and technically challenging arrangements.
The ideal candidate will:
Have in depth knowledge of capital markets and applying valuation techniques to complex financial arrangements.
Have well developed programming and modelling skills.
Have a track record in leading projects relating to market risk
Enjoy leading multi-disciplinary teams
Have at least 6 years' relevant experience
My client also expect the selected candidate to manage and coach teams, and to foster cross-group collaboration to deliver innovative solutions to their clients.
The successful candidate's strong business development capability combined with a real desire to solve complex problems will be their selling point.
A higher qualification such as Masters in Applied Finance or CFA and big 4 consultancy experience would be highly regarded.
