VAT Assistant Manager (m/f) Job in Luxembourg

Your responsibilities:

 

·         Preparation of the VAT returns

·         Preparation and submission of periodical VAT returns ( monthly/quarterly returns)

·         Preparation and submission of the annual recapitulative VAT return and the relevant appendix

·         Verification of the VAT account statement and the tax assessments

·         Preparation and submission of the quarterly Intracommunity operations recapitulative statements

·         Reclaim against tax assessments

·         VAT registration/deregistration of Luxembourg companies follow-up closure operation of the VAT number

·         Reimbursement of VAT under 8th and 13th EC Directive

·         Follow-up of VAT national Law and VAT EC Directives

·         Follow-up of the national case law and ECJ case law

·         Follow-up of the VAT Directive Projects and national projects of laws

·         Internal courses and formation to colleagues about all VAT subjects

·         External courses and formations to clients

·         Follow-up of the links between VAT and Custom (Incoterms)

·         Maintaining records of daily time spent on time billing modules
·         Personal Development: ensure continual update in professional knowledge

Your profile:

 

·         Ideally 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar position in Luxembourg

·         Proven ability of judgment and logical approach to problem solving

·         Very good communication skills

·         Ability to work under pressure as well as under tight deadlines

·         Ability to deal with client and professional advisors, thereby showing a commitment to providing a quality service

·         Good inter-personal skills, in dealing with clients, colleagues and senior management

·         Good time management and organizational skills

·         Ability to multi-task

·         Able to work on own initiative and to be high disciplined
