VAT ASSISTANT recruitment
The successful candidate will join and a small and specialist team where they will be trained to provide VAT advice in a clear and concise way. This is a very consultative role speaking with internal and external customers and collaborating with team members. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading company in its field.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist partners and colleagues in all client work.
- Work to deadlines as dictated by client needs.
- Management of a client portfolio in time.
- Contribute to the VAT team procedures.
- Involvement in VAT training across the firm.
- Contribute to business development activities (tenders, business briefings etc)

- Ability to work with clients, partners and colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal with confidential / sensitive staff issues with clients.
- Ability to transfer a confidence in the work of the VAT department to others.
- Ability to manage own time/workload and ensure a prompt and effective service.
Core Requirements:
- Previous VAT Consultancy experience.
- Experience working within finance/professional services sector would be beneficial.
