VCT Fund Sales Manager

The Investment Management division of a highly respected Banking Group has set up a VCT Fund to invest in Asset Backed Securities - principally property. Due to demand, they actively seek a Fund Sales Manager to drive new investment into the fund.

The Firm:

Launching their first VCT fund in 2012, specifically in response to investor demand for a wider range of products. Having launched 6 investment funds with a principal focus on Real Estate Holdings, they created their first VCT to provide tax-advantaged investment opportunities to their client base as well as attracting interest from new investors via their 3rd Party network of IFA's. The firm is now offering VCT's, EIS and IHT schemes with very successful launches.

The Role:

Working as part of the Sales and Marketing team, this role will aid in raising the profile of the firm and its range of investment products. Duties involve the promotion of the division’s investments, including VCT, EIS, IHT and their Tax Advisory Services, as well as coordinating future product launches to the IFA and private wealth management community.

Main Responsibilities: :

• Liaising with and maintaining the network of clients and contacts who have invested in the firm's products

• Promoting and fund-raising for the range of products, including VCT, EIS, IHT and Inheritance Tax Service

• Maintaining existing sales contacts and expanding the distribution network for the firm's products, particularly through intermediaries including IFAs, wealth managers and private bank networks

• A proactive, group-wide ambassador for the business

Knowledge and Experience:

• At least 5 years previous experience of sales and marketing of investment products

• Proven record of working with intermediaries, including IFAs and private banks, and ideally in respect of hedge-fund and / or VCT products

• An exceptional track record of fund raising with the tax-efficient space or relevant sectors

• Experience of using Microsoft CRM, Excel and Powerpoint

• Educated to at least degree level and FCA registered
