Responsibilities
- Lead execution of mandated Equity Capital Markets deals, including structuring, negotiation of legal documents and coordination of distribution
- Develop client relationships and assist in the origination of Equity Capital Markets deals
- Manage junior bankers in day to day tasks and projects within the team and beyond
- Assist in the build out of the Equity Capital Markets platform through recruiting, training and development and infrastructure development
- Develop and maintain relationships with other market participants and advisors
Skills
- Thorough understanding of structuring, execution and distribution related issues in Equity Capital Markets
- Strong and proven ability to run and control transactions on a day to day basis, managing information flow to and from clients
- Excellent client handling and negotiation skills
- Strong financial acumen and understanding, including excellent modelling, analytical and financial skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, multiple languages a distinct advantage
- Good time management, organisational and team management skills
Qualifications
- Outstanding academic credentials
- Strong track record in Equity Capital Markets on a top tier banking platform
- Hands on experience of executing bookrun Equity Capital Market deals across multiple equity products and markets
- Previous experience in training, developing, mentoring and managing junior bankers
- Insightful, reasoned and energetic personality
