Our client, a leading global investment bank, is looking for a proven application support manager in structured products to join their Structured EQ DRVT Technology team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all the production support activities including 1/2 level support, ITIL management (incident/problem, environment/configuration, change/release) and enhancements
- Manage the structured products eq drvt application support team including global deployment processes, procedures, and best practices across the wide range of applications
- Work with regional and global application development teams to ensure that new systems can be adequately supported by the application support team (by providing updates to knowledge base, documentation, and training)
- Manage daily BAU operation of application in APAC
- Build trusted relationship with key stakeholders including negotiating SLAs/OLAs and other support elements
- Provide support status updates to key stakeholders
- Ensure continued integrity of the production environment through testing/reviewing all changes made by the technology team and maintaining up-to-date documentation
- Management of BCP/DR
- Provide team management and leadership over the Asia EQ DRVT support team
- Provide risk management including operational risk, information risk and audit management
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing an application support at a reputable global bank / financial firm
- Strong knowledge in structured derivatives business knowledge (structured derivative of any asset class - including eq, fixed income)
- Must come from a previous hands-on application support background
- Good understanding of ITIL methodologies
- Strong project management and team management skills
- Good exposure to software development life cycle; ability to work with development teams to ensure high-availability production environment
- Proven track record of managing teams of size 15-20 including yearly reviews, salary and compensation, recruitment, etc
- Excellent communication skills; analytical skills
