Vice President – Commodity Trade Financing recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Relationship Managers, this role is responsible for structuring a wide range of commodity / trade finance solutions primarily to commodity corporate customers and supervising the implementation of such solutions.
- Lead and co-ordinate specific teams to drive significant trade revenue and product sales targets by using a consultative sales approach
- Deliver seamless end to end service to the clients and formulate marketing strategy to drive the business
- Liaise with Implementation, Operations, Marketing, Product Management and other technical teams to ensure high quality delivery throughout the sales process.
- Monitor and manage trade product utilization
- Provide inputs to Product Management on customer needs, trends market intelligence and assist in new product development.
- Raise the profile of the bank and ensure an increase in the Bank’s overall presence in the commodity trade / trade finance business.
Requirements:
- A university degree or equivalent with solid consultative sales experience with minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience
- Possess in-depth trade product knowledge with emphasis in commodity trade financing
- Good overall understanding of international trade practices, supply chain management and its implication to customers needs and expectations
- Having worked both in a trade sales and a trade operations role will be a definite plus
- Able to secure deal closure and ensure effective implementation
- Excellent communication, consultative selling and negotiation skills
