Vice President – Financial Reporting recruitment
Job Purpose
You will be part of the Singapore Finance team responsible for financial and regulatory reporting portfolio.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day operations within the financial reporting team focusing on new product support, enhancements to existing product and changes in related finance process flow to facilitate business initiatives.
- Responsible for insurance accounting and related regulatory reporting.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, MAS reports adhering to Singapore reporting requirements.
- Constant review of the work process and controls to improve effectiveness and efficiency of reporting process.
- Establish and maintain a robust financial reporting system to ensure information timeliness and accuracy.
- Keep abreast of developments in accounting standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage the Financial Reporting team to establish a strong foundation in supporting the business.
- Develop and manage appropriate internal controls and risk management procedures.
Job Requirements
- Tertiary Education
- At least 10 years of relevant experience with minimum 4 years of managerial capacity. Preferably with insurance experience.
- Good knowledge of the accounting and insurance regulatory regimes in Singapore.
- Team player with good people management and leadership skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong finance personnel with good business acumen and confidence to engage and influence business owners.
