Vice President Inside Sales - Executive Leader (Private Equity Backed)
Location: New England
We have been retained by a healthy and growing private equity-backed company to identify a revenue generation executive to lead sales, marketing and market development for this Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company. The position is titled Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and reports directly to the CEO. This lower middle market business ($5-25M revenue) is launching an aggressive growth strategy that will provide the CRO the opportunity to author a significant success story.
The private equity group plans to hold the company for 5-7 years which provides the CRO with an excellent opportunity to continue to grow the company, increase profitability and enhance the value of his/her equity stake. The Company has attractive EBITDA margins and is positioned to grow organically and through an aggressive acquisition strategy which will increase market share and expand into complementary vertical markets.
We are seeking:
· 12-15+ years of progressive professional experience in a relevant role selling and marketing business-to-business services.
· Demonstrated track record of improving lead generation and increasing lead conversation rates.
· Experience with "sales scientist" behaviors including testing and rolling out marketing and sales campaigns.
· Heavy metric focus including experience driving measurable improvement in revenue per sale, cross-selling, up-selling, retention, etc.
· Experience leading a successful inside sales team in a subscription-based services environment.
