Macquarie Capital comprises Macquarie Group's corporate advisory, equity underwriting and specialised funds management businesses.
With offices in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America, Europe, South Africa and the Middle East, MacCap provides a depth of services including specialist capabilities in:
- Mergers and acquisitions, takeovers and corporate restructuring advice
- Equity capital markets, equity and debt capital management and raising
- Specialised funds management (including infrastructure and real estate funds)
- Debt structuring and distribution
- Private equity placements
- Principal products
We currently have a Vice President level opening within our Gaming, Lodging and Leisure Group in Los Angeles.
About the Gaming, Lodging and Leisure Group:
The group focuses on clients operating in the gaming, lodging and leisure segments. Senior professional with the team have completed more than 75 advisory mandates with a combined transaction value over $65 billion and more than 175 debt and equity capital raising transactions totaling over $100 billion for companies in the sector. Group is focused on domestic as well as international opportunities, primarily in Asia, and is seeking junior bankers with prior experience to assist with execution of several current mandates.
To be successful, you will:
- Have 5-8 years of experience in Corporate Finance and/or MA at a recognized investment bank.
- Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
- Enjoy and be effective at developing and nurturing client relationships at the appropriate level
- Be ambitious, motivated and have the drive to succeed
- Be a team player
While not required, experience in the gaming, lodging and leisure sector is preferred
