Overview

DMW Direct Fundraising Division provides direct marketing services for mission-driven enterprises engaged in public broadcasting, the arts, education, human development, and international animal and environmental protection.  The Plymouth, MA office is currently seeking a Vice President of Fundraising to provide strategic and tactical leadership for an established portfolio of clients and help build new accounts.  The VP will join a team of peers who are supported by professionals providing research, media, creative, IT and production resources to assure quality campaign implementation and management. 

 

 

Essential Duties Responsibilities

·         Works with the President, Fundraising Group and Senior Advisor to build and maintain a book of business of sufficient billing and margin using the resources of DMW Direct.

·         Responsible for the overall client relationship (developed or assigned). This includes: Needs Assessment, Budgeting/Planning, Campaign Development, Copy Submission, as well as campaign and ongoing program analysis. Submits jobs accurately and on time to Client Services Department for execution.

·         Constantly seeks ways to meet prospect’s and client’s needs through the services offered by DMW Direct. Proactively solicits new business through personal and professional contacts.

·         Identifies new business opportunities and organic growth from current clients. This includes responding to RFP’s, developing and delivering presentations at DMW sponsored and industry events, and fully participating in other business development activities as needed, including sales presentations.
 

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree required.

·         10+ years related experience with a broad knowledge in all facets of direct marketing as well as development of fundraising strategy.

·         Must have demonstrated success in strategic account management as well as developing and nurturing long-term client relationships.

·         Proven ability to independently generate sales – both organically and through cultivation of leads.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on proposal writing and delivering presentations.

·         High impact, dynamic, hands-on performer with a passion for customer service and the customer experience.
