The VP of Sourcing Supply Chain Management provides executive leadership to KP's national procurement supply chain management infrastructure. The VP is responsible for the development successful implementation of a dynamic contracting, supply chain organization that provides premier customer service to all regional customers. The VP has program-wide responsibility for reducing controlling product/service costs providing industry standard supply chain services by improving the quality price point of procured products services, identifying, analyzing implementing supply chain improvement opportunities.
This includes but is not limited to the identification of sourcing opportunities for standardization of products suppliers, consolidation of suppliers, optimization of supplier relationships value-added services from suppliers distributors, research/entry into new markets. In addition, the position will be responsible for leading the development implementation of supply chain strategy to support organization strategies and goals. Additionally, the leader will establish the infrastructure to ensure continuously improved supply chain performance, including delivering against product service level agreements, cost objectives, financial, service, quality metrics. The VP is responsible for managing these activities for an array of products services, which collectively account for an annual spend over $2 billion.

Essential Functions:
The VP will:
- Develop supply chain strategy that supports meets organizational strategy, performance objectives customer expectations.
- Develop a national sourcing strategy to identify products services that are supportive of program regional strategies, ensure that KP receives the best value for dollars spent on products services.
- Lead the supply chain team to develop consistently deliver materials, products services according to established core supply chain metrics (e.g., responsible for operational productivity including sourced, material, labor, transportation variable cost productivity).
- Minimize company risk maintain compliance for assigned areas of responsibility (e.g., Safety/Regulatory Requirements, EHS, Warehousing, Transportation, Operations, etc.). Lead, develop establish company policies that have enterprise-wide effect; analyze evaluate complex policy issues make recommendations on actions to be taken; set direction for governance control programs to ensure compliance with corporate regulatory policies.

- Lead the supply chain team to take responsibility for improvements in safety, diversity spending environmental stewardship across all operating locations.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and/or master's in business administration (MBA), finance, operations research, purchasing, materials management, health administration or related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of procurement and supply experience.
- 10 years of progressive management experience, in combination with strategic planning, purchasing, contracting, supply chain management.
- 5 years of designing procurement and supply processes for or management and oversight of the procurement and supply function of an organization with an annual spend of at least $1 billion.
- Experience managing procurement and supply activities for a health care or pharmaceutical organization.
- 5 years of management experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Identify and implement end-to-end strategy from identification of contracting opportunities to implementation and monitoring of contracts for efficiency in the organization.
- Ensure benefits are realized and tracked for organizational capital and operating investments.
- In depth knowledge of key supply chain/logistics processes current best practices.
- Experience in supply chain technology/processes such as SAP, JIT; in-depth ERP; in-depth MRP/ERP knowledge required.
