Vice President – Private Equity recruitment
This is an exceptional opportunity to be responsible for continuously monitoring and reviewing the business' Private Equity worldwide holdings ensuring that our interests are protected at all times.
Responsibilities:
• To report on all private equity investments held by the Company on a regular basis ensuring that Senior Management are aware of the investment positions at all times.
• To review all reports presented to the Company from funds in which it has an interest and to effectively monitor and control their activities.
• To build and maintain relationships at senior levels within all the Private Equity investments and to ensure the Company is kept fully informed as to the direction of those businesses.
• To explore, appraise and review new proposals for investment allocated in accordance with established investment criteria and to the maximum benefit of the Company.
• To work in a team based environment ensuring that high quality service and effective investment decisions are made at all times.
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
• 10 years’ experience with a proven track record in the effective analysis of private equity investments and venture capital.
• A thorough understanding of investment management and knowledge of the concepts of market standard methodologies, including a good understanding of modern portfolio theory and risk management techniques.
• A team player with excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• An ability to liaise with staff and management at all levels both internally and externally.
