Job Description:
VIDEOCONFERENCING SUPPORT ENGINEER
Located in Quincy, NYC, or Camarillo – will consider telecommuting
- High touch, remote technical support on videoconference, Telepresence, Voice, VoIP, MultiMedia, and networking equipment
- Address and troubleshoot customer issues received via email or phone, as well as through monitoring tools.
- Provide extensive troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and testing of videoconferencing, audiovisual equipment (videoconferencing, multimedia, audiovisual, projection systems, displays, cameras, microphones, integrated A/V systems, document cameras, streaming technologies, etc.) and collaboration technologies
- Adhere to customer needs while maintaining professional communications and demeanor
- Document incidents, including opening case, updating with current status and timely closure.
- Maintain current knowledge and certifications as required in support of products and services
- Escalate as appropriate to internal and external resources
- Issue and track RMAs. Work with manufactures as needed.
- End user training and on site support as needed (limited)
- Test, configuration, and troubleshooting of IP and ISDN networks in support of videoconferencing and A/V equipment
- Equipment tracking and customer communications
- On call responsibilities
- Support of Conferencing Services
- Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and customer support
