Voice Engineer (Avaya) – Hong Kong recruitment
This global technology giant is a household name and they need a Senior Voice Engineer to join their team now. Reporting in to the Regional Head of Voice Engineering we are looking for people who have worked in a bank previously and are happy to work autonomously most of the time.
Essentially this position will take a lead on all Avaya voice engineering matters throughout ANZ. Some of the responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- The ordering and tracking of necessary hardware and it's corresponding logistics.
- Coordination with vendors on hardware delivery and installation, circuit installation, testing, troubleshooting and acceptance.
- Coordinate with the banks Corporate Services team on cable, rack and power requirement and installation.
- Preparation and maintenance of related documentation. This includes: design documents, configuration templates, network diagrams, test plans, inventory and project timeline.
- Prepare and execute turnovers -- i.e. configuration changes and testing
- Provide technical/operational support coverage when required
To be a success in this role, you will need the following Skills Set and Experience:
- Strong technical skills on BT Netrix dealing system, Avaya PBX, Speakerbus intercom system, Voicemail and voice recording platform.
- A good understanding of QSIG protocol, VoIP, structure cabling and data networking is essential.
- Ideally you will have some technical skills on IPC dealing system.
- Strong organizing, presentation and vendors management skills.
- Extensive experience in project management, tracking, budgeting, planning and milestone reporting.
- Strong troubleshooting analytical skills
- Financial industry experience preferred
