Reporting to the Head of MA, you will assist in identifying opportunities to develop the existing business or diversify into new areas, through acquisition or start-up. You will participate in formulating and valuing business strategies, as well as help support the development of the enterprise valuation model. p

In this role, you will oversee the project management of MA, from initiation to closing; analyze cost impact, recommend best financing options and assist in managing the project financing process. In addition, you will partner with executive sponsors to document business cases for strategic initiatives; quantify and define costs, benefits, timelines, contingencies and implications, including NPV, ROI and payback period. You will also need to develop fact-based assumptions and financial models; ensuring that financial and operating parameters are defined for all proposed capital projects to the satisfaction of the relevant stakeholders. Responsibilities include providing oversight and direction for capital project port-audit analysis; as well as contributing to original analysis for more complex projects. p

Qualifications p

1) Degree qualified in a finance, accounting or quantitative discipline p

2) Between 5 - 10 years relevant work experience either in a Corporate Finance team of a financial institution; an internal corporate development team of a global corporate or a private equity setup, with a focus on oil and gas. p

3) Good track record and relevant deal experience in the oil and gas sector including strategic fit assessment, putting together/ reviewing offers, due diligence, valuation/ financial impact, structuring, negotiations and pre/ post completion tasks. p
