VP
This successful team is currently experiencing high deal volumes across Asia. The role will offer the opportunity to work alongside some of the top DCM bankers in Hong Kong.
Role:
• Help originate a wide-range of debt products (bonds, corporate hybrids, bank capital, liability management, leveraged buy-outs, syndicated loans, private placements, structured products (vessel financing, back-leverage etc.) for corporates, banks, and sovereigns across Asia ex-Japan. There will be a specific focus on China.
• Lead all aspects of deal execution, including coordination, due diligence, credit committee approvals, credit ratings process, covenant negotiations, reviewing transaction documentation and the marketing process
• Advise corporate and financial sponsors on acquisition financing and leverage buy-out situations. Active role in due diligence, structuring (China Holdco structures), financial modeling, and the credit analysis process
• Be responsible for pitch-books, credit market updates, credit and trading comparables, modeling, obtaining internal approvals and deal execution
• Closely work with syndicate, credit research, credit risk and industry and coverage bankers
The Candidate:
• Essential to speak Mandarin and have DCM exposure to Chinese corporate clients
• Strong technical background and sound understanding of debt products
• Good marketing skills, good communication and credit skills are important as well as good exposure to the Debt markets
• Strong preference to hire an established Senior Associate / VP already working within a proven DCM team
