VP Asset Management - Regional affordable housing developer
This position is responsible for setting and implementing financial, business, and management strategies/tactics for the company’s multifamily real estate investment portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the value of the firm’s assets. Responsibilities include refinancing decisions, leasing programs, disposition activities, capital improvement programs, asset management plans, property management review, insurance program and investor/ lender communications.
The successful candidate must have recent real estate portfolio management experience, including an understanding of property management oversight, insurance, lender / investor relationships and compliance management. This position will have bottom line responsibility for a geographically diverse portfolio of affordable rental apartment developments financed using Low Income Housing Tax credits, Historic Tax credits and similar funding sources. The portfolio is rent restricted, primarily located in the southeast US and Caribbean.
