VP & AVP Finance Change Mgt / Project Mgt
Globally as well as other strategic initiatives supporting regulatory reporting strategy.Candidates with experience in Basel, Market Risk, Credit Risk, RWA, project management, change management skill will be suitable.
Main Duties
Work with stakeholders to agree scope of the programme / projects and produce scoping / initiation documents.
Work with IT, business users other stakeholders to produce detailed project plans for the work.
Manage implementation of the projects working with IT and the relevant user groups across Finance and other stakeholders (for example, Risk and Treasury).
Produce and maintain key project documentation throughout the project lifecycle (plans, status reports, issue and risk logs).
Determine test approaches requirements for the technology and process changes, prepare test plans, liaise with the IT test managers to ensure that IT and business plans are aligned and track progress against the plans.
Manage the rollout and release of new processes / IT solutions to the business.
Build close working relationships with all key stakeholders across Finance, IT and other key stakeholders, maintaining open communication and ensuring transparency at all stages.
Ensure quality of key documentation (including business requirements and functional specifications), ensuring documentation is comprehensive and accurate, and ensuring adequate sign-offs and audit trails are maintained throughout.
Managing the project team, including both direct line management of Change Management team business analysts, and indirect management of the wider project team.
Person Requirements
Experience required:
- 7 - 9 years experience in banking or finance, preferably in regulatory or statutory reporting
- Project and change management
- Process re-engineering and implementing tactical and strategic solutions
Skills and knowledge: (Specific product knowledge/PC skills/languages etc)
- Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter, team player.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicator.
- Desire to provide top quality service to internal clients.
- Willingness and ability to take ownership of issues and manage through to a successful resolution.
- Strong Excel skills.
