Our client, a top-tier investment bank, is looking for an experienced Java/C# developer to join their fast growing Credit Derivative technology team in Shanghai.
The Fixed Income Credit Derivatives technology team focuses on delivering the technology that will drive the firm’s credit business. The users are primarily traders and desk strategists on Structured Credit Product as well as Corporate Credit desks. The team is poised for expansion in Asia and requires strong technical leaders who are also solid hands-on developers.
The successful candidate will work on the scenario analysis, risk, and pricing calculation infrastructure built on highly distributed and cutting-edge technologies.
The role involves all aspects of the software life cycle - from requirements gathering, analysis of existing systems and functionalities, through to design and implementation. The candidate will also be involved in the final production roll out and subsequent support. We need flexible candidates who are practical technologists, demonstrate excellent problem solving skills and enjoy all aspects of software development.
Frequent interactions with business users and technologists across the firm and around the globe requires effective written and verbal communications and good interpersonal skills.
Skills Required:
- Proven years of Java development with in-depth knowledge of core programming concepts such as multi-threading and concurrency
- Strong experience in distributed and multi-threaded architecture
- Expertise in core technologies including Java, SQL, Database, Unix/Linux, Windows
- Great communication and teamwork skills
