VP – Capital Optimisation (Trade Finance) – Tier 1 Bank recruitment
This global Tier 1 banking group is currently seeking to recruit a VP to focus on Capital and RWA optimisation of their trade finance transactions and products.
Your role will be to ensure optimal usage and pricing of capital in the structuring of trade finance products. You will ensure that transactions structured comply with all regulatory policies, and that there is ample balance sheet capacity to support clients in their growth aspirations. You will be responsible for managing stakeholders in respect of proposed changes in prudential regulation.
This role has 2 direct reports and will ideally be based in London, although there is also potentially the option to be based in Singapore if appropriate.
The successful candidate will have a background in capital management, Basel, and risk modelling (PD, LGD, EAD), along with expertise in Trade Finance and Working Capital. The product knowledge is essential and unfortunately candidates without this cannot be considered.
You may be working for another leading bank in a similar role, in a trade asset management team or potentially in a transaction banking role. This is an excellent opportunity to make your mark in a newly created, high profile position.
