VP Client Markets – Medical Insurance recruitment
Due to growth within their Life Health team this global leader is seeking an experienced client/account manager with strong medical sales experience and a passion for client service to continue to develop their profile within the region.
Major responsibilities:
- Ensure high level of client satisfaction and retention
- Ensure both client and full market segmentation exercise is completed
- Maintain develop client relationship at senior level
- Identify pursue all new business opportunities, including all alternative distribution and revenue streams
- Achieve high success ratio of wins and help contribute to large growth in medical business
- Work closely with key clients on product development initiatives
- Prepare and negotiate proposals and solutions for clients in the region
- Coordinate with other units to ensure effective delivery of business plan
- Assess business opportunities critically and identify those worth pursuing
- Support the team with internal projects, research, monitoring and reporting
- Co-operate closely with the client management and risk management team where a project calls for diverse skill-sets
Requirements:
- Strong medical insurance background, with at least 5 years experience
- Strong sales skills, pro active and client centric is essential
- Experience in the Asian markets, although a solid background of medical insurance in mature markets such as US, UK, South Africawould also be advantageous.
- Strong leadership with influencing and negotiation skills
- Travel across Asia will be required
- Experience in medical insurance claims or risk management highly regarded
- Independent, self-driven, result-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is required
- Proficiency in PC skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
