VP, CMBS Loan Origination & Structuring
Historically our client had a sizeable securitisation and CMBS conduit team that provided regular issuance to the market during 2000 - 2009. Over the last few years they have been managing the legacy loan book and working on a select number of new deals and they have kept most of the original team in place during difficult market conditions.
Given a recent pick up in deal activity and renewed capital commitments from the investment bank the Real Estate Finance team is sourcing new loans and refinancing deals in the secondary market and is looking to hire a VP level candidate to the team.
The successful candidate will have previous CMBS deal execution experience having worked in a Securitisation team and will form part of a small deal team. Main responsibilities include; loan origination, client management, cash flow modeling, underwriting, structuring and deal execution. The team has a continental European focus and will only consider candidates with European deal experience.
The role is on an initial 6 month contract with this being extended into a full time position depending on deal flow and market activity.
