VP Commodities Product Controller Based In London recruitment
Responsibilities of the role are:
- To understand the company’s trading strategy and assist in monitoring and defining trading limits
- Identifying business risks and implementing controls to migrate them
- Production of the Daily P/L analysis and regularly liaise with the accounts team
- Prepare risk reports for senior management
- Broker reconciliations for derivative positions on trading book.
- Co-ordinate and develop global reporting of Risk Positions and PL, liaising with international offices
It is essential that you have:
- Proven track record within commodities risk management or product control
- 3-6years product control experience (preferably ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified)
- Experience with physical commodities
- Strong academic background
- Broker account experience an advantage
The company’s softs trading arm is growing and this role is seen as an integral part in maintaining growth and managing key business risks and trading exposure.
