VP, Commodity Trade Finance (based in Australia OR Indonesia)
Reporting to the Regional Head of Commodity Trade Finance based in Singapore, the successful candidate will undertake the key role of managing and growing the Structured and Commodity Trade portfolio for the Australian or Indonesian market, based in Sydney or Jakarta . He / She will have bottom-line responsibility though sales and relationship servicing, primarily focusing on clients in both the ‘soft’ and ‘hard’ commodity industries.
In addition to business performance responsibilities, the successful candidate will also identify and prioritise major issues requiring resolution to meet business objectives and take necessary corrective action to resolve customer problems escalated during the course of deal execution. In addition, he / she is expected to participate in cost reduction, service improvements and capability enhancement initiatives of the Bank.
Required Experience and Competencies :
Tertiary qualification in a business related discipline.
At least 10 years of corporate banking experience, with the last 5 years covering Commodity Corporates
Strong understanding of the markets covered. A deal track record is a must.
A self-starter with the ability to work independently, garner buy-in and is resourceful by nature.
