VP Compensation & Benefits – Global Portfolio recruitment

Partnering with the Global Head of Compensation Benefits for the business line, you will develop strategy for the overall compensation function and ensure operational excellence and efficiency in the delivery of all compensation programs globally. Develop and implement business specific compensation policies, procedures and processes to achieve short and long term strategic business plans within the broader framework of the business and wider bank objectives.

You will act as a trusted advisor and a lead consultant to clients on all compensation related matters, achieved through daily interactions with all levels of managers, including the Senior Management team and HR Business Partners. You will build sustainable relationships and influence key decision makers on compensation issues in the region, and translate regulatory and policy governance and requirements into clear and compelling messages for managers and employees, adapting information for specific audiences.

A minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible CB experience, preferably with an international focus. Experience within the front office banking space is advantageous but not critical. Demonstrated ability to operate in a highly matrixed organization, significant independent thinking yet able to balance the overall functional agenda with regional requirements. Outstanding client management, communication and quantitative skills with proven ability to influence senior managers in various locations. Negotiates well in difficult situations and drives for results. Broad regional or global compensation experience, with particular emphasis on sales plan design, metrics and alternative equity arrangements.
