This leading financial services and investment organization is committed to corporate philanthropy and humanitarian projects across the world. Their global non-for-profit foundation allows their clients to become involved in an array of compassionate and charitable activity to support those in need.
Based in Hong Kong, there is a need for a corporate philanthropy specialist to set up this foundation in Asia.
Responsibilities
- Establish and manage the Foundation office inHong Kong, including implementing annual planning, budgeting and quality management
- Ensure compliance with global guidelines on basic strategy, policy, corporate identity and orientate marketing/communication in accordance to these guidelines
- Together with the Foundation Board, develop and implement fundraising initiatives with the Client Advisors; organize information and fund raising events for the foundation and compile articles/reports about the foundation and its projects and distribute to the necessary audience
- Present the Foundation to all key target groups within the organisation, act as first point of contact for applicant queries, including being the advisory point of contact for project partners
- Make project recommendations to the Foundation Board, identify suitable project applications and escalate to relevant stakeholders
- Be responsible for marketing/communication and PR image of the Foundation inAsia and create the marketing and communication concept
Requirements
- Qualified in NPO management with at least 5 years of management experience on a general management level
- Experience in strategy development, implementation and measurement
- Thorough knowledge of the charitable foundation sector inAsiawith access to a wide NPO network; proven track record in fundraising and involvement in project work
- Fluent in English and Mandarin with strong presentation skills and a flair for writing
