VP Credit - Institutional Banking – Project Leveraged Finance
Our client is an International Banking Giant who is seeking a senior credit professional to undertake detailed credit-analysis of Project and Leverage Finance customers and transactions. The position will undertake the preparation of credit applications and manage the administrative processes related to credit. This person will be a key member when executing transactions, and will support other business activities of the Institutional Bank in marketing the company’s products and services.
Relocation and sponsorship is available for international and or interstate candidates, with the relevant PF LF experience who are interested in a move to Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Analysis
- Modelling cash flows and financial information in order to undertake financial analysis
- Preparing reports for presentations to external parties, such as customers and advisors
- Preparing credit papers in co-operation with Front Office Managers to seek credit approval for Project and Leveraged Finance transactions
- Preparing, reviewing and finalising credit applications as required
- Participating in deal teams to support the origination of new business opportunities through industry and company analysis, review of financial information and client calling
- Meeting with clients in order to support banking relationship
Key Competencies
- Relevant Credit experience in Project Finance or Leverage Finance
- Tertiary qualification in a business relevant field
- Awareness and reasonable understanding current Project Finance deals in the Australian market
- Good level of numeracy and strong financial analysis skills, and the ability to conduct financial modelling
- Good communicator, both verbally and in writing
