Our client is a world renowned Private Bank with an established international presence and brand name. Due to continuous business growth in Asia, currently the bank is seeking to recruit an experienced Discretionary Mandate Sales professional to join the team based in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the APAC Head of Discretionary Mandate Sales, you will be an experienced Sales specialist in the Hong Kong team focusing on discretionary mandate targeting private banking high net worth individual clients as well as small institutions in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. You will be part of the Investment Management team and will be responsible for liaising internally with private bankers on the products / services offering as well as partnering with the in-house investment counsellors / products specialists to ensure delivery of the highest client services standards.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Minimum 10+ year’s relevant Sales experience in Discretionary Investment Management gained from Private Banking and / or Asset Management firms
- Experience in Investment Specialist Sales, Portfolio Management and / or Retail Funds Distribution Sales experience would also be considered
- Broad investment products knowledge with experience in managing / advising on multi asset class portfolios
- Confident presentations skills with ability to communicate effectively and convincingly on complex information to ultra-high net worth clients
- Excellent communication skills with fluent in English, ability to speak fluent Cantonese and / or Mandarin would be highly advantageous
