VP Equities Business/Finance Manager – Top Tier IB – Large Package recruitment
The position has become available after a long, successful period of restructuring and subsequent growth within their Middle Office space.
The candidate will be the primary point of contact for all Equity trading desks (Vanilla and Exotics), will be expected to liaise directly with senior stakeholders and become a trusted advisor to them and in turn will be placed in to a high profile, accountable position within the Equities business. The main focus of the role will be on providing value added financial and non-finance analysis, business solutions and the ownership of the validation and control oversight of offshore produced PL and risk. However, this is a rather fluid position and the candidate should therefore expect to operate on a strategic level outside of that main focus on a regular basis.
The position is a unique opportunity for an individual to quickly establish themselves within a new set up/organisational structure and thus benefit from career development and progression opportunities that will not be available at competitor IB's.
Whilst this role would be ideal for a line (Product Control) VP that is looking for a step up and new challenge, ideally we would look for candidates that have had a career/exposure beyond just pure Product Control. Additional experience in Valuations, Risk, Change Management or Business Management type roles would be seen as a major advantage. However, it is crucial that the individual will be ACA/CIMA qualified.
