VP Equity Derivatives Product Controller recruitment

PRODUCT COVERAGE: Product coverage includes Equity Derivatives

POSITION: You will be responsible for the following activities:
• Direct management of 2 AVPs within a team of 15
• Responsible for the training and career development of the team
• Review of PL production processes including:
• FOBO Review
• PL Analysis
• PL Reporting
• PL Commentary
• Month End Cut Off Controls
• SOX Testing
• Liaison with the Business Control, Reporting and Change group
• Face off to senior PC management on daily PL issues
• Take ownership of issues that arise from the day to day and monthly processes with a view to resolving these in an efficient and timely manner
• Reviewing and implementing process improvements over the wider group

TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:

• Approximately 6-8 years plus post qualification. Preference for Product Control and/or related product knowledge
• Professional accountancy qualification - preferably achieved via a top tier firm
• Proactive and able to suggest solutions and have the drive to implement changes
• Attention to detail
• Numerical competency and accuracy
• Communication, leadership and organisational skills
• Well organised and able to meet deadlines
