Our client is a leading Global Banking Group with diversified banking services and products across Asia including retail and corporate banking. As part of the group's strategy to strengthen Markets Compliance, a newly created opportunity has arisen for a subject matter expert in FICC Compliance to join the bank's Hong Kong Markets Compliance team, reporting to the Head of FICC Compliance.
This role will be responsible for providing compliance support to the FICC and Sales Trading Businesses within Hong Kong and it will be necessary to ensure that relevant compliance policy and procedure is integrated into the business. This role will need to develop mitigating strategies and ensure compliance with corporate policy and external regulation. Therefore, the successful candidate will be expected to provide training to the business and advisory on a daily basis regarding transactional issues.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A degree within a related discipline.
- Significant Compliance experience within a corporate/ investment bank, with experience of Global Markets Compliance.
- A minimum of 7 years experience within the industry, with at least 3 years within a relevant compliance function.
- Strong understanding of and experience in FICC/ Sales Trading Compliance.
- Strong experience in business area compliance.
- The ability to advise the business and deal with a variety of stakeholders at senior level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
