VP HR Employee Relations – US Investment Bank recruitment
Our client is a first tier US Investment Bank with an enviable reputation across global financial markets. A senior opportunity has arisen, working within the Employee Relations team in Asia, to provide ER coverage to all divisions within the Greater China region.
Based in Hong Kong, and interacting with colleagues globally, your responsibilities will include: advising on day-to-day employee issues, contracts, entitlements, disputes, EEO and compliance, understanding and interpreting firm policies and advising employers about employment issues, conducting investigations and interviews in the course of resolving casework, and assisting in the preparation of reports and training materials.
A background in employment law / labour ordinance will be highly advantageous; alternatively you will possess a relevant HR Generalist background with strong employee relations experience. Most importantly, you will exercise sound judgment and interpersonal skills, understanding the need for total discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality, when handling often sensitive cases. English language ability is required. Cantonese and Mandarin language skills would be advantageous as would a legal qualification.
