VP, HR Generalist (HK & Korea) recruitment
A market leading global financial institution is looking for a seasoned HR business partner to join their team as VP, HR Generalist covering HK and Korea.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of HR Generalists in Hong Kong and Korea to provide HR advisory services to line managers on resourcing and manpower planning, compensation and benefits, policies and processes, transfer and movement, expatriate management and performance management
- Work closely with regional CB and HRIS team for salary survey, comp structure review
- Manage external vendors (e.g. recruitment firms) to provide timely recruitment solutions to the business
- Drive coaching and development of HR talent within Hong Kong Korea, acting as a role model and change agent
- Collaborate with Group HR Functions to implement HR systems, processes and policies within the responsible locations and within the Group policy frameworks as relevant
- Keep abreast of market intelligence on HR trends (recruiting, compensation benefits, terms conditions, talent management, etc.) to ensure the company is in a competitive position to attract, develop and retain talent
- Lead or assist in regional / country HR projects
Requirements:
- Degree educated preferred
- 10+ years of relevant generalist experience gained with reputable financial institutions or leading professional services firms
- Solid experience in account servicing / relationship management
- Independent, mature with excellent negotiation, time management and project management skills
- Detail minded and resourceful
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Flexible to travel occasionally
