VP, Institutional Equity Sales recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand institutional client base, with a focus on fund houses and other institutional investors.
- Complete all sales tasks which include IPO underwriting and secondary market placement.
- Develop business on secondary market trading with institutional clients.
- Expanding overall equity business in Hong Kong, including institutional and private client sales team.
- Provide professional investment advice to institutional investors in HK and overseas market.
- Provide sales services and account management job for major institutional clients.
- Involve in due diligence and structuring of primary/secondary equity fund-raising activities.
- Generate ideas and provide support to the ECM team in deal marketing and structuring.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree, with professional qualification will be an advantage.
- Holder of Representative License under SFC regulated activities for Type 1.
- At least 6 years institutional sales experience gained with sizable investment banks or brokerage environment.
- Experience in execution of at least 2 large H share IPO underwriting.
- Strong knowledge and experience in a variety of fund raising corporate finance activities (IPO, Placement etc).
- Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
- Excellent institutional network in HK, China and overseas markets, strong sales and marketing skills, result-oriented and work under pressure.
- Leadership capability, attention to detail, ability to work in teams, commitment to excellence, ability to communicate complicated thoughts and ideas.
