RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze the firm’s proprietary compliance system to achieve maximum efficiency and scalability.

• Perform data analysis, process and quality control reviews for maximum accuracy and efficiency.the guideline compliance process

• Provide on-going analysis of compliance processes, including the impact of new business initiatives on  

• Work with compliance staff and technology to develop action plans and implement enhancement opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced degree (MBA or MFE preferred) with a concentration in math, computer science, engineering, accounting or other related quantitative/analytical field from a leading, accredited college or university.

• Must possess strong communication skills, analytical ability and excellent attention to detail.

• 8-10 years experience in investment management role at a major consulting firm highly preferred

• Advanced experience with process engineering, such as Six Sigma or Operational Excellence a plus

• An understanding of databases is highly desired.

• Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) is a plus and advanced working knowledge of Excel is required.

• Ability to work in a team environment is required.

• Strong technical skills in fixed income, currency and derivative instruments.

• Must be able to work with stake holders such as risk management, account management and portfolio management

• High degree of enthusiasm – must learn PIMCO’s detailed processes and technologies that support Compliance

• Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) is a plus and advanced working knowledge of Excel is required.

• Ability to work in a team environment is required.
