My client, a tier-one global investment bank, is looking for hands-on Java / C++ Developers to join their front office proprietary trading team, covering a variety of business lines, including Index Arbitrage, Market-Making, and High Frequency trading. This proprietary team is a vibrant and exciting business which is undergoing massive growth in terms of trading volumes, global coverage, and revenue generated for the firm.
My client is at the very beginning of their greenfield development. Successful candidates will play a pivotal role in designing a greenfield trading system from scratch to support different equity instruments; and ultimately be shaping the future of investment banking technology.
Key Technical Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of Java and / or C++ experience
• Oracle, KDB
• Linux/Unix
• TIBCO Rendezvous and other message oriented middleware
Key Past Experiences:
1) Algorithmic trading strategies / Market Making Strategies
2) Index Arbitrage and High Frequency trading systems
Other:
• Able to demonstrate ability to interact confidently and effectively with users, including traders, sales, and quants
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Strong capital markets knowledge and understanding of equities, especially proprietary trading
• Comprehensive understanding of Asian Equity and Futures markets, including Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, China and India
This is an extremely prestigious role and you will be working with the best technologists within the APAC region. Compensation will not be a concern.
You will own the design, development, and delivery of leading front office server side components.
