VP Learning & Development, Asia -Top Global Bank recruitment

Our client is a global US banking services firm with an outstanding reputation in the region. This role represents an exciting opportunity for a senior learning and development professional to be part of the team representing the Asia region. The position is based in Hong Kong.

Reporting directly to the regional Head of L D for Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for analyzing the training needs of the business as well as designing (localizing), developing and rolling out training programs across the Asia region. You will liaise directly with all country L D and / or HR stakeholders and will assist in devising the curriculum for the region; there will be about 25-30% delivery with this role. The successful candidate will be degree educated with at least 8 years experience working within Training and Development roles in large multinational organizations, preferably Financial Services. You will have detailed knowledge of training needs assessment, program design and development, the facilitation of workshops, vendor management and have strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Fluency in English is essential and above all you must be highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic with a strong team-player mentality and the gravitas and confidence to work within a fast moving bank.
