VP – M&A (Hong Kong
Reporting to the Head of MA, you will take a pro-active role in the execution and origination of MA advisory transactions. You will assist in identifying opportunities for clients to develop the existing business or diversify into new areas, through acquisition or start-up. You will participate in formulating and valuing business strategies, as well as help support the development of the enterprise valuation model.
In this role, you will oversee the entire MA process, from initiation to closing. In addition, you will need to mentor junior members on the team.
Qualifications
1) Degree qualified in a finance, accounting or quantitative discipline
2) Between 7 - 10 years relevant work experience either in the MA team of an Investment Bank or a Big 4 Accounting Firm.
3) Good track record and relevant deal experience including strategic fit assessment, putting together/ reviewing offers, due diligence, valuation/ financial impact, structuring, negotiations and pre/ post completion tasks.
4) Strong communication skills
