VP – Manager Research
The professional will work in concert with the Portfolio Manager to identify, review and recommend allocations to hedge funds and long only funds for various fund of funds and for customized separate account portfolios.
In addition, the individual work with the PM on various risk analytics on current portfolio investments.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at min 3 years experience in a Due Diligence/Fund analysis role.
Extensive experience in and knowledge of the hedge fund industry and its participants.
The person will also have demonstrated proficiency with portfolio statistics and performance analytics, plus the hands-on talent to create highly professional reports and graphical presentations in Excel and PowerPoint for management. Extensive Excel skills (Macro programming highly desired
Top university degree, impressive GPA. MBA and/or CFA a plus
Superb oral and written communication skills.
