VP of Prime Services Middle Office Operations Control Manager

The Prime Services Middle Office (MO) Department is responsible for facilitating the clearance and settlement of transactions in the Equity Prime Brokerage and Fixed Income Prime Brokerage, and the Broker Dealer Services accounts.  As a client aligned team, they work directly with clients (typically Hedge Funds and broker dealers), their trade counterparties and Core Operations to resolve outstanding settlement issues (Breaks, Fails, etc).  Additionally, the team also answers any inquiries a client may have with respect to the processing and settlement of their securities transactions.

Operational control and risk management is the foundation to operational excellence.   The role of Operations Control Manager (OCM) within Investor Services Operations is to ensure controls and process disciplines are rigorously maintained and continually enhanced through metrics reporting, risk assessment testing, and quality assurance and root cause analysis. 

The Operations Control Manager is accountable for internal control practices.  The successful candidate will ensure controls are consistently practiced throughout the organization, ensure identification, escalation and resolution of operational risk, and provide oversight and sponsorship of selected control initiatives.

This position will report to the Global Operations Control Manager .
