VP-Operational Risk – Custody and Securities Clearing – New York recruitment
The firm is a major participant in the fixed income and FX cash and derivatives markets. The role will be responsible for Risk Control and Self Assessment: assessing all of the risks associated with the ongoing business and new products and includes [credit, market, liquidity, operational, legal, compliance, technology, global custody, and systemic risks]. The candidate will have 10+ years of risk management experience and at least 5 years in an operational risk role in Clearing, Settling and Servicing fixed income and FX transactions and knowledge of the paying agent, transfer agency or trustee business with an active broker-dealer. This is a leadership role and requires in depth knowledge of audit and compliance procedures, superior communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage teams of 20 or more and drive new policy initiatives through the organization.
